What is DLHE?

The Destination of Leavers of Higher Education (DLHE) survey is a yearly activity, performed six months after graduation from a higher education institution (HEI).  Information sought includes work or further study a leaver may have entered into.

This data is collected on behalf of the Higher Education Standards Agency (HESA), and relates to UK and EU domiciled students only.

How this information is used

Information collected during the DLHE is distributed by HESA to various parties, for example; UniStats, The Guardian’s UK University Guide, and the Sunday Times University Guide.  As each of these interpret the DLHE data in different ways, the GDC have produced a guide to how each relates to graduate destinations.
