Introduction to the ePortfolio

The LJMU e-portfolio is a key tool to help you store and reflect on information about you, your skills and how you develop them.  It can be used for PDP (Personal Development Planning) which can help you to plan your progress, evaluate your performance and to present information about yourself in a professional format.

You can access the e-portfolio in Blackboard

Please read the terms and conditions before you begin.

The e-portfolio contains easy to use editable templates that let you add text, image, audio and video content. Once you have saved content you can also choose to share it with potential employers and tutors to get feedback on your personal skills development.

For example, you can:

  • Add content such as text, images, audio and video
  • Add pages based on a pre-defined PDP template
  • Create your own pages
  • Store evidence of your development
  • Link to files in the content area and external web pages
  • Share your portfolio internally with one or more people e.g. your tutor
  • Share your portfolio externally with one or more people e.g. a prospective employer
  • Allow people who view your portfolio to add comments
  • Export, save and reuse the portfolio.

Over the coming weeks as the e-Portfolio section of the WoW website is developed you will gain access to a wealth of support material including numerous templates to assist you in your PDP, example as well as video tutorials on how to use the system and a FAQ section guiding you through the process.
