My primary research focus is on the empowerment and wellbeing of people with intellectual disabilities in online and offline contexts. My research work has concentrated on the health and social wellbeing of people with intellectual disabilities at different life stages. I have also been involved in a number of multidisciplinary collaborative investigations into the impact and effectiveness of interventions for people with intellectual disabilities and those who support them.
