I am an applied entomologist with interests in insect conservation and biological control. I have worked on marsh flies (Sciomyzidae) and their molluscan prey on turloughs (temporary lakes unique to the west of Ireland), a national survey of ground beetles (Carabidae) from wetlands in Ireland and am currently working on forest pests and their biological control with entomopathogenic nematodes and fungi.
