Organisation Development
The Organisation Development function is outward facing supporting the University's Strategic Plan by providing advice and support across Faculties and Services to enhance leadership, culture change and improved dispute resolution, where appropriate.
Professional services include:
- The continuing personal, professional and skills development of senior management covering the Strategic Management Group and Directors, with particular emphasis on leadership capability to support excellence in governance and management, a strong strategic focus and operational delivery
- Culture change through the application of LJMU values
- The realignment of resources to ensure organisation structure and focus is fit for purpose to meet Faculty and Service areas' strategic and operational aims
- The effective management and/or mediation of disputes to prevent, where possible, escalation to full grievance or further conflict which damage ongoing working relationships
