Facilities
170 networked PCs in Teaching Rooms and General Areas, two self service printers, two colour printers, one colour scanner and a range of specialist equipment and software. All areas of the IT Centre are accessible to wheelchair users via two lifts.
One computer in each Teaching Room is equipped with Kurzweil, for dyslexic users, and Zoomtext and Jaws for users with sight difficulties. The specific machine is clearly labelled.
Second Floor
- Five Teaching Rooms, with capacities from 18 to 30 PCs, and each with full multimedia presentation facilities.
- One PC with colour scanner, including zip drive, CD-RW drive, and USB port access.
- Self Service Printer (black and white, double-sided, single sided, A4)
- Self Service Printer (colour, double-sided, single sided, A4) with shared Release Station.
- Help Desk managed Printer (black and white, double-sided, A4)
