Accessing our computing facilities
LJMU computing centres
LJMU Computing facilities are available in Learning Resource Centres and School Based Computing Centres.
Learning Resource Centres
LJMU's have three learning resource centres, which are operated by Library and Student Support.
- Aldham Robarts LRC
- Avril Robarts LRC
- IM Marsh LRC
They have a range of library and computing facilities housed in a single area, and are the most popular centres for accessing the general academic computer network. Click on the links, to find out about each of the LRCs and what facilities are available.
School / Faculty Based Computing Centres
The school based computing centres are intended to cater for the computing needs of academic users of individual schools and faculties. Many of these centres provide PCs for accessing the general academic computer network, although some only provide specialist applications and facilities for their particular school.
