Photos from the Knowsley Citizenship Awards ceremony, including a group of Good Citizenship winners, Dean Sullivan and Professor David Alton present an award to Daniel Lee, St. Bridget's Catholic Primary School and a group of award winners with Dean SullivanThe Knowsley Citizenship Awards were held at Knowsley Hall on 8 June 2006.  Over 47 children from Knowsley primary, secondary and special schools (pictured above left) received awards sponsored by ARRIVA North West.  Professor David Alton and former Brookside actor Dean Sullivan presented the awards.  

The Director of  Children's Services for Knowsley, Mr Damien Allen, read the citations, and the Mayor of Knowsley, Cllr Joan Quilliam was present, along with Knowsley MP, George Howarth.

 

 

 

 

 

 

St Helens Citizenship Awards

George Bromilow of St Thomas's Catholic Primary School receives his good citizenship award27 children from St Helens Primary schools received their Good Citizenship Awards on 21 June at the Theatre Royal in St Helens Their awards are sponsored by Lloyds TSB Foundation for England & Wales.

Pictured left is George Bromilow of St. Thomas's Catholic Primary School who also won the Merseyside Police award for his work with the Dawn Patrol in St Helens.
