Welcome to the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences which now comprises over 1000 students on a range of full-time and part-time programmes at postgraduate, undergraduate and diploma levels covering the areas of Computing, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics and Statistics.
The School employs over 40 highly qualified academic staff and is supported by teams of skilled technical and administrative staff. As well as access to University-wide IT facilities, staff and students are provided with up-to-date specialist computing facilities within the School.
As a student at Liverpool John Moores you will have access to a range of academic, social and welfare resources as well as to a host of activities in the city of Liverpool itself which can offer top-class theatres, bands, football teams, art galleries and night clubs.
The School is proud of its growing research base and reputation and long-standing history of working with local, regional and national industries through student placement, research, consultancy, short course activity and Teaching Company schemes. The School also has number of collaborative partnerships both locally and internationally.
