School Tour
The computing environment within the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences was custom designed in 1993 by Farrell & McCracken Architects of DGP, Chester. The 7th floor of the Byrom street complex was rebuilt to exacting specifications on functionality, safety, security and comfort. As well as housing the Schools computer hardware all computer laboratories are fitted with air conditioning, ergonomic seating and category 2 lighting. Our computing facilities, thus, represent state-of-the-art design technology for a modern computing environment.
