The School has nine specialist teaching laboratories comprising over 400 workstations, which are overseen by a team of ten technicial staff. The laboratories contain Linux Workstations / Unix facilities, IBM PC compatible machines and multimedia equipment. 
All equipment is networked to the local CMS Network, the JMU Network and the Internet. School based students are major users of the University Central Computer Service, which provide networked facilities across the University.
