One year part time
Polymaths, a course validated by the Institute of Mathematics & its Applications, is unique in that, although not requiring any academic qualifications, it offers the possibility of undertaking entry to degree and allied courses within one year. It has a justly deserved reputation for quality, and our many successful students are proof of its validity. Many academic institutions have found by experience that students who have gained the Polymaths Diploma possess both the knowledge and study skills to achieve academic success.
For whom is Polymaths intended?
Many people. Do you, for example, fit into any of the following categories?
-
Never had an adequate chance to learn mathematics.
-
Bored (or scared) by mathematics in school and cannot see it as a living subject applied to everyday problems.
-
Never done any mathematics for years but feel the need for a fresh start. (Perhaps intending to do a course with a mathematical content).
-
Interested in learning about modern mathematics currently being taught in schools (keep up with the Jones' child!).
-
Wonder what can be done by computers?
If you do, then the IMA Polymaths course could be of benefit to you. (The course was designed to give a fresh start in mathematics to those who have missed earlier opportunities).
