Drive Through from Edge Lane

The M62 takes the visitor directly on to Edge Lane. The following pages describe the car journey from Edge Lane to the James Parsons Building Byrom Street.

1. From the M62 follow signs to "Albert Dock and Central Tourist Attractions" ( middle lane).		2. Follow Edge Lane past the Gardeners Arms public house.

3. You will pass a Peugeot Garage on the left.		4. There is a set of traffic lights after the garage. Go straight across the lights.

5. On to another set of traffic lights and past the Edge Lane Retail Park.		6. Continuing past the Liverpool Inovation Park.

7. .. And the old Littlewoods Building on the left.		8. Across another set of lights on Holt Road.

9. Up to a Texaco garage at the End of Edge Lane. Stay in the right lane and go over the lights.		10. Road turns right. Follow the road right onto Hall Lane.

11. Another set of lights at the end of Hall Lane. Go over the lights onto Erskine Street.		12. Once over the lights Erskine Street bends to the left.

13. Erskine Street leads onto Islington. Stay in the right lane.		14. Over the first set of lights on Islington past the Royal Liverpool Hospital on the left.

15. Islington Crosses Norton Street. Past the old TGWU concrete building ( left). Keep in the right Lane.		16. Hunter Street carries on down hill. Head for "Albert Dock" signs.

17. Hunter Street bends to the right and carries on past a set of lights to Byrom Street/Scotland Road.		18. Carry on over the lights and approach a second set of lights. James Parsons building on the right. Note: you may not turn right at these lights.

19. The turn off sign for John Moores University is after the lights. Stay in the right lane.		20. Concealed access entrance onto other side of dual carriageway.

21. Crossing on to Byrom Street. Cross to the left hand lane with caution as there will be traffic approaching you from the left.		22. Report to Byrom Street security for access to parking behind the James Parsons building.
