Travelling By Air

International Visitors have the option of using either Liverpool Airport or Manchester International Airport

      Easyjet offer inexpensive flights from a number of locations direct to Liverpool Airport. From there the journey to the James Parsons Building is a 15 minute taxi ride. Alternatively, a number 80 bus goes into the city centre.

Alternative Airports : Manchester International Airport ,Manchester (45 mins by road)
A train  operates between Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly station. From there a connecting train goes direct to Liverpool Lime Street Station.

Alteratively by car, take the M56 towards Chester ( junction 6) and follow it west to the M6 ( junction 9)

Follow the M6 north towards Preston up to the M62 ( junction 21a). Follow the M62 towards Liverpool

Travelling By Train

Trains from many major UK towns and cities operate to Liverpool Lime Street. The station is only a short walk from the James Parsons building. You can check train times using the Virgin Trains website. A train journey from London Euston is 2 hours and 50 minutes
 

Local train services operate from Lime Street Station and Central Station to Liverpool Districts, the Wirral, Southport and Ormskirk.

 

Travelling By Coach

Liverpool is on the National Express Coach network. The National Express Coach Station on Norton Street is 3 minutes walk from the James Parsons Building and is directly across the road from the JMU Tower.

Local Bus Routes

All major local bus routes to Liverpool City centre terminate at either the Paradise Street Bus Station or the Roe Srtreet Gyratory in Liverpool city centre. Both are a short walk from the James Parsons Building which is on Byrom Street.
