You have been invited to a prestigious Funding Seminar, based upon the principles of User Led Design for Autism. The seminar is aimed at those organisations who may have an interest in supporting the building of an Autism Centre of Excellence and Community Centre or the services developed and delivered through this facility. It will take place on Wednesday 2 May 2012 at Liverpool John Moores University, Art & Design Academy.

Halton Autistic Family Support Group (HAFS) are working in partnership with NHS Mersey Care, Liverpool University, NW Design, Todd and Ledson and ourselves Liverpool John Moores University in this exciting, unique and innovative community based project, which is an excellent example of a truly user led organisation. You will also hear about the principles of and other examples of user led design in different fields, from the distinguished speakers, presenting at this seminar.

HAFS (Halton Autistic Family Support Group) members have led the planning and design of this facility with all the stakeholders includin the local residents who will benefit from a Community Centre as part of the facility.

Additionally, you will be able to network with peers who also have an interest in projects such as this that provide so many benefits to some many people in all walks of life but particularly those made very vulnerable by disability.
