Web Statistics
On this website we use Sitestat, a product of Nedstat, and, in areas, Google Analytics and Crazy Egg, to measure and analyse information with respect to visits to our website. To that effect we use your IP-address to collect, among other things, internet traffic data and data regarding your browser type and computer.
In addition cookies are used. A cookie is a small file that is stored on your computer when you visit a website. If you visit the website again, it is recognized as a repeat visit by means of the cookie. The cookie contains a unique number and therefore no personal data.
The cookie cannot be used to identify you on websites of third parties, including Nedstat.
It is possible to configure your web browser to refuse cookies or to be informed if a cookie is set. We refer to the manual of your web browser.
We will not use the IP-addresses or cookies to identify you personally. We use the services of Nedstat in order to increase the efficiency of our website.

If you would like to provide feedback or comment on any aspect of our website, please email communications@ljmu.ac.uk If you have a query or comment about a specific aspect of our provision, please browse through our key contacts section to find email addresses for our key departments.
Emails sent to communications@ljmu.ac.uk will be viewed by a member of the Corporate Communications webteam and may be dealt with in one of the following ways:
- Dealt with directly by the Corporate Communications department
- Forwarded to a member of staff elsewhere in the University if appropriate
- Filed in an email folder to refer to when reviewing content or design of the website at a future date
Emails to this address will be held as a matter of record for 12 months and then deleted. We will not record any of your personal data elsewhere and your email address or any other contact details will not be used for any purpose other than responding to your query or comments.
