Are you interested in developing your public health knowledge and skills and applying them in the international health arena? Then why not join the innovative Public Health Programme at Liverpool John Moores University. This Master’s level taught programme offers you an opportunity to study public health in a multidisciplinary and participatory learning environment. This approach enables you to view public health from a number of different perspectives and enhances your understanding of the peoples and processes involved in promoting international public health.
What makes the international health route unique?
The course is designed for individual from overseas who have responsibility for public health programmes, health promotion or community development in their home country; or for individuals living or working in this country who would like to develop public health knowledge and skills with a more international flavour.
With an emphasis on international public health, the course offers insights into the social determinants of health and how to tackle health inequalities and promote health.
We want you to make a difference. We want to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in partnerships, become key change agents when working with individuals and organisations, and become advocates for public health investment.
