Construction and Surveying
Foundation degree
Is this course the next step after your HNC in Construction?
If you have already gained an HNC in Construction but don’t want to give up work in order to gain a further qualification, the part time Foundation Degree in Construction and Surveying could be the answer. Your existing HNC will be mapped against the Foundation Degree allowing you advanced entry on to the course. You will be invited for an informal interview to ensure you will be gaining the appropriate modules.
What is a Foundation Degree in Construction and Surveying?
The Foundation Degree is a modern, vocational higher education qualification which combines valuable work experience with the academic structure of a degree programme. The course has been developed in consultation with construction industry employers and is suitable if you are currently an employee in the industry. The course is flexible and accessible to those with the ability and motivation to succeed. As well as being a qualification which could increase your career opportunities and earning potential, it can also provide a route onto full honours degree courses.
As a joint collaboration between the University and the College, you will have the flexibility of studying a Liverpool John Moores University Foundation Degree at Warrington Collegiate or Wirral Metropolitan.
