If you are reading this, then Criminology has most likely already captured your interest.
You may have some awareness of Criminology from films and videos, video games, television dramas and documentaries, newspapers and crime novels. You may already know some areas of study in Criminology and the career paths that follow from Criminology. You may want to find out more about Criminology to see whether this is an area that you would like to pursue.
Some areas that lie within Criminology may surprise you. Did you know that we also study areas like bullying, child abuse, environmental harm and corporate crime? Did you know that Criminology graduates work as consultants on crime dramas for the large television production houses? Did you know that criminologists act as advisers to politicians and work with children to re-direct their life histories? Criminology is a very varied field that opens up a range of exciting and interesting careers.
Our Criminology degrees are taught by internationally acclaimed professors who cater for students' needs to develop a solid knowledge base in criminology and a range of transferable skills.
