Is Civil Engineering for you?

If the answer to these questions is ‘yes’, then a HND/C in Civil Engineering at Liverpool John Moores University may well be the first rung on the ladder to a successful and rewarding career.

What will you get out of studying this course?

The skills of problem solving, analysis and design are fundamental to the Civil Engineer. The HND/C in Civil Engineering is designed to develop these skills to the level required by Civil Engineering technicians in the workplace, and to supplement these with skills in team work, drawing, IT, risk assessment, report writing and common sense.

What career opportunities are available?

Career prospects for students graduating with an HND in Civil Engineering from this University are excellent, with most students obtaining employment prior to the end of their final academic year. Most students studying for the HNC are already in employment and will continue to work for this employer after completion of the HNC.
