The Access to Learning Fund (ALF)

Sometimes despite your best efforts you can find yourself in financial difficulty. This could be due to a delay in funding or unforeseen circumstances that have arisen which could place a student in financial hardship, which without help, would force them to withdraw from their studies.

The Access to Learning Fund is a government fund that is available to students who find themselves in such a position. We don't want money worries to stop any of our students from succeeding in their studies at LJMU. That's why we added an additional £200,000+ to the Access to Learning Fund to help more of our students reach their full potential.

The Access to Learning Fund is only available to UK students and does not ususally have to be paid back.
