Academic appointments 2012

Liverpool John Moores University is looking for over 50 inspiring academics to support our research and teaching as part of a significant investment in scholarship and learning.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nigel Weatherill, who was appointed in September 2011, announced a new strategic plan for the University this year with renewed emphasis on scholarship in the curriculum and beyond.

LJMU is already one of the leading research-active contemporary universities in the UK with world leading and internationally recognised research across the institution. The University’s research impact was reflected in the Times Higher Education World University rankings 2011-12.
