Stuart Fortune who graduated in 2001 has contributed to the production
of Intro's Snow Queen to be shown on BBC1 on christmas day morning. Stuart
urges us all to tune in.

Adam O'Shea's post-it inspired stings were voted 8th in the national competition.

Congratulations to Gareth Jones who won the Animation Category at the
leading north west student film and animation festival for his final level
3 animation 'The Glass Merchant'.

Congratulations to 3rd year student Steven Clarkson for making the top
10 in Channel 4's E-stings competition.

sept 2004 : Liverpool Biennial
Over the summer some of our students were chosen to design online playthings
for the educational strand of the Biennial. The results can be viewed
from the Biennial website.

june 2004 : Degree Show
Last years degree show took place at FACT in Liverpool in June 2004.
A showreel of motion graphics work was screened in the Box whilst
interactive work and individual portfolios were accessible from the Media
Lounge.

ThunderChunkey, a local web based design magazine sent one of their writers
along to report on the work. The review is critical in places but generally
supportive of the work on show.

Microwave Film Festival @ FACT
Tuesday 23rd March : 6.30pm
Two of our level 3 students films were screened at FACT as part of a student
film festival. Colleen McKeown's "One Street, One Day" won the
best use of editing category.

Thursday 18th March : 11.30am
Illustration/design group the Neasdon Control Centre will be visiting
the art school. All welcome.
