Cycle to Work Scheme
As part of the University's commitment to support green travel initiatives, the University has teamed up with Cyclescheme Ltd, the number one provider of tax free bikes for the Government Cycle to Work Initiative. Utilising the Government initiative employees can make savings between 30 - 50% depending on your personal tax band.
Hire agreements will be for 24 months with the employee paying for the first 12 months. At the end of the 24 months the Universtiy may consider selling the employee the bike at a fair market value. This will involve employees conducting a condition assessment on the bike. Further details on this assessment criteria will follow.
