Pick 'n' Mix CPD courses
Programme for Summer 2012
Resources for teacher CPD funds are being stretched in all areas. Leaders are looking for excellent value and quality assured sessions which do not require lesson cover, high transport costs or expensive fees. In response to this, LJMU has developed the "Pick ‘n’ Mix" Programme of Teacher CPD. Pick ‘n’ Mix is an extensive suite of short CPD sessions on a range of themes for primary and secondary teachers and leaders, further education lecturers, education support staff and any other interested educators.
What: These sessions will be high energy, interactive bursts of CPD lasting 1½ hours. They will focus on practical classroom application in the context of concise evidence based literature. There will be networking opportunities to meet fellow practitioners from other local institutions.
Where: The venue will be I M Marsh campus in Aigburth, Liverpool L17 6BD. On-street parking is readily available at this time of the day and there is free parking at the Holmefield Road entrance to the campus from 3.30p.m.
When: Midweek sessions, starting promptly at 4.30pm continuing through to 6.00pm, with refreshments and networking opportunities available from 4pm.
Cost: £30 per session.
