Introduction
Welcome to the Liverpool John Moores Racing Team website, for past few years the LJMU Racing team has been invovled in the Formula Student competition. With the 2010 competition being our first class 1 entry, we are currently working our 2011 entry, the LJMU11, which have designed ourself and are currently in the process fabricating. Our aims for the 2011 season is to compete in our second class 1 competition at Silverstone, as well as competiting at the Hockenheimring, Germany for the first time.

- Having attended the freshers fair and gained a lot of interest in the car, the LJMU11 is now being displayed in the foyer at Byrom Street.
- If anyone is interested in joining the team or getting involved with the motorsport society like LJMU Racing Team on facebook and get involved.

- With the start of a new year the team are now focusing on recruitment for the coming year and will be making an appearance at the freshers fair at the student union.

- The team has returned from a week in Germany competing at Hockenheim where unfortunately the steering broke during the endurance which resulted in us finishing in 38th place overall.
- Competing abroad was an excellent experience and we will hopefully be able to travel again next year.

- We have returned from competing at Formula Student UK at Silverstone after finishing 18th overall and 4th out of the UK teams.
- The team now have two weeks to get the car ready to travel to Hockenheim for Formula Student Germany.

Now with the end of the university exam period all of the team's concentration can be applied to the LJMU11 and plenty of work is getting completed on the car
