  1. The Beautiful Game

    In celebration of our research and collaboration with local and national homeless football organisations, we are pleased to invite you to our free upcoming event. Attendees will hear accounts of players involvement in the Homeless World Cup, highlighting the highs and lows of the players journey to the Homeless World Cup, and back again. Followed by a screening of the recent Netflix release inspired by the Homeless World Cup- The Beautiful Game'.

  2. Premiere Screening - “The Liverpool College of Art : Timelines.”

    The film charts the history of the College bringing together alumni, tutors and staff who reminisce their time in the Hope Street building going back to the 1940s and, in candid interviews, they compare teaching methods and college life. The film also shows students at work in the old art school building on Hope Street, prior to its closure in 2008.

  3. The triple planetary crisis: perspectives from fieldwork in the Arctic

    The triple planetary crisis refer to the three main issues that humanity currently faces: climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss. These issues are particularly felt in the Arctic, where climate amplification is leading to warming above the global average, terrestrial and marine pollution is encroaching on formerly pristine environments, and fragile Arctic ecosystems are suffering extensive destruction.

  4. LJMU PE, School Sport and Physical Activity Network Event

    This face-to-face event is for primary and secondary teachers, Sport/PE students, trainee teachers and sports coaches working in schools. The event will: Disseminate the research activity and projects across LJMU PESSPA network Reflect upon the findings and recommendations of the Ofsted subject PE report series (Sept 2023) Celebrate collaborative activities/events.
