School and college pupils from across the region have gained an insight into the media and creative industries, thanks to LJMU and the BBC.
At the beginning of July, nearly 100 Year 12 students from Northern Ireland, Wales and across the rest of England took part in a three-day residential visit to LJMU to experience all that the university has to offer.
The university sent more than sixty staff and students to Belfast welcoming more than 700 visitors to two applicant events.
Billed as the ‘thinking person’s variety night’, LJMU launched Liverpool Bright Club, a comedy night with a difference.

Around 12 months after delivering her Roscoe Lecture on Eleanor Rathbone, Dr Susan Cohen again joined staff and students from LJMU for a special event at Speaker's House in London.
