Sustainable Enterprise Research Group (SERG)
Set up in 2004, the Social Enterprise Research Group (SERG) is a collection of new researchers in Liverpool Business School of Liverpool John Moores' University in the UK.
The strategic aims of the group (in no particular order) are:
1. Provide a supportive environment for members seeking to further their scholarly activity in the area of sustainable management;
2. Promote sustainable management scholarship through publication of collaborative research papers;
3. Promote sustainable management practices through consultancy activity in social enterprises and other organisations; and
4. Set up and manage the Journal of Social Enterprise Management.
Membership to SERG is fluid with people joining to collaborate on specific papers and projects as desired. The working methods of the group are consciously democratic with no particular appointed officers and with members sharing the groups administrative tasks.
