The clinic provides specialist sports physiotherapy to olympic and para-olympic athletes funded by the English Institute of Sport (EIS), young athletes on British Athletics World Class Talent program (WCT), elite athletes in higher or further education funded by the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS), as well as Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) sport scholarship students. From 2009 this expertise is available to LJMU staff and the public.
Uniquely 1 hour is allocated for all sessions ensuring in-depth assessments and quality treatments.

Claire set-up the clinic in 2006 solely for the provision of physiotherapy support for olympic and para-olympic athletes funded by the English Institute of Sport, elite athletes in higher or further education funded by the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) and Liverpool John Moores University sport scholarship students. In 2009, Claire opened the clinic to the public and LJMU staff.
Claire undertook a degree in Sports Science at The University of Birmingham (1993-1996) before qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist at Coventry University (1997-2000). She lectured in Sports Therapy and Sports Science at the University of Hertfordshire (2004-2005) and completed her PhD at Liverpool John Moores University with research on the mechanisms, and diagnosis, of vascular compression syndromes at the shoulder in 2009. Claire has accrued a wealth of experience both within the NHS and the private sector. In the past she has been team physiotherapist for a Rugby club, a football academy and travelled to international tournaments with a Hockey team, as well as working at the Commonwealth Games and the World Transplant Games in 2002. In addition to standard physiotherapy practice Claire has received further training in sports massage, strapping and taping, manual therapy, sports injuries, hydrotherapy and acupuncture for pain relief.

Nina is recognised as a specialist musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist with expertise in orthopaedic rehabilitation. Her experience in elite sport includes the roles of lead physiotherapist for Rugby and Australian Football Leagues, travelling internationally as team physiotherapist for GB boxing and lead physiotherapist at Boxing World Championships and European competitions.
Nina has specialist training and experience in isokinetic testing, orthopaedic medicine, hand injuries, wound management and hand splinting.
In 1999 she qualified as a chartered physiotherapist at the University of Northumbria winning an award for clinical excellence. Nina’s accomplished career began at the John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford leading to more than ten years of practice in private hospitals and sport physio experience.
