Routes into Teaching | Postgraduate | Mathematics
If you have taken, or are currently completing an Maths degree (or similar), you may be eligible to apply for the following courses:
- PGCE Mathematics (going directly into the PGCE year)
- PGCE Early Years*
- PGCE Information Technology
You may also be eligible for the following courses:
- If you have a Science AS/A2 (or equivalent)
- PGCE Chemistry / Physics
All the above courses require that applicants have, or are in the process of achieving, GCSE grade C in Mathematics and English Language (or equivalent) prior to the start of the course.
* PGCE Early Years requires that applicants have GCSE grade C in Mathematics, English Language and Science prior to applying for the course. We would expect to have received all applications for this programme by the GTTR 1st December Primary deadline.
