Improving and understanding health

Now in its 4th year, this free to attend conference brings together PhD students from around the world who are undertaking research that aims to improve or understand health, behaviour or health care.

Conference registration – closed

Registration is open now to any postgraduate researchers in UK, European and international institutions. Places are limited, so please register early to avoid disappointment. 

The conference will again be preceded by free to attend workshops. Topics will include: preparing for viva, academic writing, undertaking research with vulnerable adults, and undertaking research with children. After registering for the conference we will contact you with information on workshop registration

Abstract submission – closed

The deadline for submitting an abstract is Thursday 26 April 2018.

We welcome abstracts on topics related to the conference theme. This includes, but is not restricted to, research in the fields of public health, health care, psychology, sport science, sociology, health economics and environmental health, but we welcome relevant research from any discipline. As well as research findings, presentations on topic or methodological issues and PhD experiences will also be welcomed.
