Tithebarn Building extension and refurbishment

We have extended and refurbished our Tithebarn Building – home to the Faculty of Health and Avril Robarts Library.

This major city centre development provides state-of-the-art facilities within a four-storey new build extension and completely refurbished existing accommodation, along with attractive outdoor spaces.

Faculty of Health

The faculty’s new build extension and refurbished facilities provide our students and staff with:

• Nine world-class, technology-enhanced specialist simulation suites
• Two modern and flexible-use lecture theatres
• Three IT suites supporting advancements in technology enhanced learning
• Modern, refurbished teaching rooms and staff accommodation

Avril Robarts Library

The newly-refurbished library offers:

• A modern environment for online and digital resources and our book stock
• New study and social spaces
• More visible spaces for key student support teams

Our redevelopment of the Tithebarn Building has also improved our outdoor areas, with attractive green spaces and courtyard.
