Northern Ireland Summer University

Liverpool John Moores University’s Northern Ireland Residential 2020 is now open for registrations from Year 13 students. The Residential will take place from Wednesday 17 – Friday 19 June. Students will be met early at Belfast International Airport and fly to Liverpool together and be escorted back to Belfast the Friday evening – please note that students must have photographic ID in order to fly to Liverpool.

The three day, two night residential is funded by the University and is completely free for participants (including flights), and will allow interested students plenty of opportunity to talk to current students, tour LJMU facilities, and explore the wonderful city of Liverpool. The last day of the visit is timed to coincide with the University Open Day. Students will leave the residential with all the information they could possibly need about LJMU, their chosen course or subject area and the City. The programme will consist of talks as well as social activities giving participants a flavour of student life, spending lots of time with our student advocates and staying in one of the halls of residence.

Available places will be allocated based on information provided in applications, mostly in supporting statements, and more specifically applicants’ academic and extracurricular achievements, interest in LJMU and WP criteria.
