Funding your teacher training
There are three types of funding available to help you cover the fees of your teacher training course, along with supporting you with living expenses:
- Tax-free bursary or scholarship
- Tuition Fee Loan and Maintenance Loan
- Extra financial support if you're a parent, have an adult dependant or a disability
Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible to receive all three types of funding support.
The value of the tax-free bursary is conditional on the subject you want to teach and your qualifications.
