Pro bono LJMU

Pro bono

Welcome to the School of Law's pro bono service

Services and resources on a pro bono basis.

The School of Law believes that access to legal rights and justice should not be restricted to those who can afford to pay for it. Consequently, our services and resources are provided on a pro bono basis – that is, free of charge.

Our Legal Advice Centre, for example, offers free legal advice to our students, staff and members of the public. We also have a Wills and Administration Clinic, have a Family Drop-In Clinic and are piloting CLOCK (Community Legal Outreach Community Keele). As well as running a number of services, we also offer School of Law students a number of pro bono volunteering opportunities.
