BSc (Hons) Nautical Science (Top-up degree)

Duration: Full-Time, 1 academic year

Prerequisites: 

  • MNTB approved FDSc Nautical Science or equivalent
  • MCA approved HND Nautical Science or equivalent, plus prior completion of a short distance learning academic writing course (available at no charge once application received)

International Applicants should hold a UKVI approved English Language Qualification (equivalent to IELTS 5.5 average).

Course description: The general aim of the Nautical Science programme is to develop students as independent learners and for a career in ship management, shipbroking, marine surveying and other areas of maritime industry. In one academic year, the students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes which collectively represents the demands of the industry.
