Head of International Partnerships at LJMU invited to speak at the Bett UK 2020 Show, London, 22 January 2020



The Head of International Partnerships at LJMU, Steve Waterworth, was invited to speak, as part of a panel discussion session entitled 'The Globalisation of Higher Education: Opportunities and Cultural Differences'.

Along with Cameron Mirza, Director of Nottingham Trent University UAE and Guy Walker, the Leader of Pioneering Education, School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society at Heriot Watt University, the panel discussed, and took questions from the audience, on the topic of examining where the opportunities for the education sector lie and the importance of understanding local culture when seeking collaboration and long-term, meaningful partnerships and the importance of managing the expectations of all partners being key.
