LJMU has been shortlisted for two awards at this year's Educate North Awards 2025 (ENAs).
Following a record-breaking number of entries from across the Higher Education sector LJMU has been shortlisted for:

Business School of the Year: Liverpool Business School
Liverpool Business School (LBS) is guided by its vision of “shaping a better future,” which underpins its drive to deliver for students, staff and communities. Over the past seven years, its focus has been on engaging meaningfully with the businesses and communities that it serves. Through research and community engagement, LBS has addressed important social, economic and environmental challenges, achieving measurable and impactful results.
Community Engagement Award – University Sector: Legal Advice Centre: Community Law Clinic
In November 2022, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) opened a new £2.6million public advice hub in Liverpool City Centre to help hundreds of people with free legal advice and meet the rocketing demands of local people priced out of hiring lawyers and accountants when faced with personal or professional crisis.
In June 2024, the Legal Advice Centre began to offer a new area of support to Windrush families and communities, the first university clinic of its kind, in the North West, to do so.
