Why students love living in Liverpool
We asked students about their experiences moving to Liverpool and why they now love living here. Here's what they had to say.
As one of the most affordable and friendly cities in the UK, Liverpool attracts students from all around. It boasts more galleries than any other city outside of London, it has an unrivalled nightlife scene, it hosts a range of exciting events throughout the year, and if eating out is your thing, there’s a huge choice of restaurants on Bold Street alone. The Times recently named the Baltic Triangle/North Docks area of Liverpool the coolest place to live in Britain.
“I’d give Liverpool ten out of ten for nights out, venues and atmosphere. It’s one of the best cities in the country in my opinion.”
– Garrick Elms-Harrison, Computer Games Development student
So, what is your Liverpool? Is it kicking up leaves in an autumnal Sefton Park? Taking in a play at the Everyman? Checking out an exhibition at the Tate? Feeding the birds in the Bluecoat garden? Trying out the newest café in Bold Street? Braving a frosty Mersey morning on board the ferry?
