We're asking students and staff to cast their vote to find out what are LJMU's favourite books. Have your say, vote today.

Student in the library

World Book Day is just around the corner and it coincides with our Libraries introducing a Leisure Reading Collection and the Liverpool Students’ Union Book Swap on 26 February, so to celebrate all things literary, we're finding out what LJMU considers to be the best fiction ever.

Our poll has now finished. Thanks to all of those who took part.

Now that the votes are in, we’ll be asking academics from the English department to give their views on the top rated books. So check back soon to find out the results.

The books selected for the Library's new Leisure Reading Collection are recent titles from a wide range of styles including biography, poetry, science fiction, romance and popular science. Take a look at the collection.
