Biography

I am the Subject Leader for English at LJMU, and lead and teach a range of undergraduate modules, including 'Literature in Context: Britain in the 1950s and 1960s' and 'Representing Masculinities'. My current research interest (/obsession) is the intersection between literature and visual art in British culture of the 1950s. I would be very interested in supervising post-doctoral research in this area, as well as on British literature in the 1950s more widely.
