Mr Jon Spruce

Biography

Jon Spruce lectures in the design of objects and spaces at Liverpool John Moores University, his research interests focus on exploring how design education may be developed through increased dialogue and understanding being built between academics, the design industry, users of design services and consumers of design, presenting research papers widely in this area at international conferences. Trained as an Industrial Designer Jon has commercial experience in the design and manufacture of products and furniture as well as extensive experience in leading undergraduate design curricula. Jon holds the position of external examiner at a number of UK institutions and has acted as an advisor on curriculum development both nationally and internationally.
