I have specialised in English Language for 10 years, teaching in a range of settings including schools, colleges and CBHE. Ultimately, I became fascinated by the concepts and policy that relate to quality in Higher Education which led me to undertake the Doctor of Education programme at LJMU. Whilst working towards the thesis phase, I encountered several philosophical frameworks which challenged predisposed notions, and I am currently developing a holistic framework that considers a way of existing, researching and teaching within a Higher Education environment.
