Biography

Francis joined the Liverpool John Moores University in October 2018. He was a Research Fellow on the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded project: ‘Business Judgment and The Courts’ in the Centre for Business Law and Practice, School of Law, University of Leeds, October 2016-September 2018. He was Associate Lecturer/Tutor at the Manchester Metropolitan University, January 2016 – April 2016 and Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester, September 2013 – August 2014. Francis is a graduate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators ICSA London. He is also a Qualified Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria. His research interests include Company Law, Corporate Law and the market for Corporate Control, Corporate Governance, Law and Economics, Commercial Law and Comparative Law. Francis is the author of a number of journal articles and he is currently writing a monograph on corporate takeovers.
