Rosalind Jones is the Associate Dean in Research & Knowledge Exchange for the Faculty of Business & Law and Professor in Marketing in Liverpool Business School. Her research expertise lies in the study of entrepreneurial marketing, networking and commercialisation, strategic orientation and growth firms (SMEs/start-ups). She has been the co-chair of the Entrepreneurial & Small Business Marketing Special Interest Group of the Academy of Marketing from 2013 until 2023 and a member of the steering committee of the Global Research Conference in Marketing and Entrepreneurship (GRCME) in the United States since 2014. In 2020 Professor Jones won the prestigious Professor Gerry Hills award for most influential paper in the domain of marketing and entrepreneurship over the last 10 years, for citations, quality and influence on the field, awarded by the Entrepreneurial Marketing Special Interest Group of the American Marketing Association (AMA). She is Editor of the Journal of Research in Marketing & Entrepreneurship (JRME), an Emerald journal and on the editorial board of Management Decision. She has published in numerous international journals including Journal of Business Research, Tourism Management and the International Journal of Small Business and edited books and special issues of journals. She is Co-Investigator on a large EPSRC grant 'Quantum Technology Hub in Sensors and Timing' for LJMU at the University of Birmingham investigating supply chains for cold atom sensors with multiple universities, partners and investors. She has extensive public sector management experience in the Department of Work & Pensions and has been a Chartered Marketer and SME Ambassador of North Wales for a decade. Previous to Liverpool Business School she was Director of the Suite of MBA programmes at the University of Birmingham, at Birmingham Business School. Professor Jones originally studied for her PhD and became a teaching and research member of staff at Bangor University, Wales. Professor Jones is an experienced PhD and DBA supervisor and is looking for excellent PhD students and SMEs for KTP projects in her areas of research.
