Stuart joined the Public Health Institute (PHI) in January 2012 as a Research Assistant for the Business Support team. Following a restructure Stuart joined the Intelligence and Surveillance team in April 2013, providing data entry for the syringe exchange, alcohol harm reduction and later the drug interventions Programme (DIP) projects. As well as providing support for the European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR) regarding their annual conference and members meeting, board meetings and society membership.
Since 2016 Stuart has worked as a Data Analyst for the Intelligence and Surveillance team, providing monthly reports on the drug interventions Programme (DIP) data to Knowsley and St Helens Drug & Alcohol Action Teams outlining key aspects of their performance and any emerging trends. He also provides monthly Trauma and Injury Intelligence Group (TIIG) violence and injury reports using emergency department data from hospitals in Cumbria, Lancashire and Merseyside.
