Biography

Milly is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Development and Social Inclusion. Milly's research focuses on sport and social inclusion, specifically exploring gender issues in sport. She is currently completing her PhD, which is longitudinally examining women's engagement in sport and physical activity and how behaviour changes occur. This work builds on the Sport England Funded 'I Will if You Will' evaluation, on which Milly was the principal investigator. That project informed the national roll-out of the 'This Girl Can' (http://www.thisgirlcan.co.uk/) campaign.
