Biography

Khalid Hashim is a doctor of advanced water and wastewater treatment technologies. He has extensive research interests covering a wide variety of interdisciplinary perspectives concerning the theory and practice of advanced hybrid technologies in water and wastewater treatment. He has published well over 30 peer reviewed scientific publications and 2 book chapters, in multidisciplinary research areas including: waste management, water treatment, wastewater treatment, applications of sensing technology in monitoring of water and wastewater quality, design and modelling of electrochemical reactors. Additionally, Khalid has a good research experience in leaching of pollutants from soil and construction materials.
Khalid has been actively involved as a member of editorial board and review committee for a number peer reviewed international journals, and is on program committee or as a chair for a number of ranked international conferences.
