Biography

Dr Feng Zhao is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Prior to joining LJMU, he held research and academic positions in University of Lincoln, Swansea University, and Ulster University in the United Kingdom, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

He received the BEng degree in electronic engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2000, and the MPhil and PhD degrees in computer vision from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. His research interests include image processing, biomedical image analysis, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
